THESE pupils from a Worcester primary school are now well on their way to improving their environment.
Warndon Primary School pupils helped to plant a variety of wildflower plants along the hedgerows of Warndon Park, near to the Warndon Community Centre in Shap Drive.
The youngsters were the first group to take part in the community planting, which was organised by the Get it Right Warndon advisory group.
The children started with a litter-pick to prepare the area, then planted a range of native species including cow parsley, foxgloves, mallow, ragged robin and red campion. They were then given a talk by the environmental warden for Warndon and Gorse Hill who described his role in the community.
