A CAPTIVATING tribute to the music of Joni Mitchell is coming to Colwall Village Hall.
The Joni Mitchell Project, performing at the hall near Malvern on Saturday, is fronted by Sally Barker, a founder member of the all-female supergroup The Poozies. Barker, who has toured with Bob Dylan and Robert Plant, conceived the project after she was asked to perform the track Coyote for a special version of Martin Scorsese’s film The Last Waltz.
She subsequently put together various combinations of musicians until the Joni Mitchell Project emerged.
