X FACTOR starlet Cher Lloyd is through to the semi-finals of the ITV competition.
The 17-year-old, from Malvern Link, last night performed two songs as part of ‘Rock Week’ on the show.
Her first was a rendition of Avril Lavigne’s ‘Girlfriend’ while the second performance was ‘Walk This Way’, originally performed by Aerosmith and Run DMC.
Both songs went down a storm with the viewers and just moments ago Cher was put through to the last five hopefuls – thanks to the voting public - on a night when Katie Waissel and Wagner were shown the door.
