MALVERN’S Cher Lloyd will perform with Will.i.am at this weekend’s live X Factor final.

The 17-year-old will take to the stage with the Black Eyed Peas star – with Robbie Williams joining One Direction, Rihanna performing with Matt Cardle and Christina Aguilera singing with Rebecca Ferguson.

At a press conference yesterday it was confirmed that the act with the fewest public votes will be kicked off on Saturday night, leaving three finalists to perform on Sunday when the winner is announced.

Cher, whom bookmakers have made the favourite to leave first, admitted she did not expect to win.

She said: “I know I’m not going to win. Come on, I’m the rapper.”

A live TV broadcast from Malvern’s Three Counties Showground will be shown during the shows on Saturday and Sunday.

It is understood that Radio One DJ Scott Mills will be hosting the event.

Free tickets are available for Cher fans unable to get down to London for the X Factor final.

X Factor host Dermot O’Leary will be talking live from the main London studio to everyone gathered at the showground over both nights.

Audience members must be aged eight or above, with everyone under 18 accompanied by an adult.

Event-goers are being urged to bring signs, banners and posters with messages of support for the 17-year-old Malvern singing sensation.

They will be joined by members of Cher’s extended family, who will be backing their girl from her home town.

People are asked to note that if Cher goes out on Saturday night, the Sunday event will be cancelled.

Yesterday, bookies were giving odds of between 20/1 and 41/1 for Cher to win the contest outright, while she is 1/5 to go out first at the weekend.

Matt Cardle is favourite on 10/11, Rebecca Ferguson is 11/4 to win, and boy band One Direction are on at 5/2.
