X FACTOR finalist Cher Lloyd will perform in Worcester, it has been confirmed.

The 17-year-old will take to the stage at Tramps in Angel Place after coming fourth in the competition.

Cher’s dad Darren Lloyd said “a weight had lifted” after she was eliminated on Saturday night’s show.

Mr Lloyd said the family would also be able to relax without the nerve-wracking strain of travelling to London and watching their daughter face a knock-out every weekend.

But the continuing showbiz circus means that Cher doesn’t yet know if she’ll have any time to see her parents in Malvern Link.

She was last there during a visit with her show mentor Cheryl Cole last Tuesday filming for the live final.

“She’s hoping to have a day off, but we usually only find out the day before,” said Mr Lloyd.

“We’re missing her. We don’t know what’s happening over Christmas but we’re hoping to get a word with her when she performs in Worcester next week.”

He said there had been “a few” offers of record deals but hadn’t heard anything concrete yet.

It is widely thought that Black Eyed Peas star Will.i.am is interested in working with her, after performing alongside her during the live X Factor show last weekend.

However, Mr Lloyd said: “She hasn’t really said about it. We haven’t had a private word with her yet.

“Once she’s got five or 10 minutes she’ll give us a call, it’s just so busy for her.

"It’s been like this for 12 weeks.”

Cher has now left the X Factor house and is staying in a London hotel.

Figures released yesterday show that eventual winner Matt Cardle had been the public’s favourite throughout the competition.

The former painter and decorator from Colchester in Essex scored the highest amount of public votes every week apart from the first, when Mary Byrne came top.

Rebecca Ferguson had come second in the past four weeks before the final.

The same figures also showed that Cher had her best result in week four, bagging 19 per cent of the vote as girl group Belle Amie crashed out.

If the result was purely down to the public vote, Cher would have gone out of the competition in week seven when she polled fewer votes than Paije Richardson, but she triumphed in the sing-off.

In the semi-final Mary Byrne lost out on the judges’ decision, despite polling more votes than Cher.

On Saturday, Cher got 16 per cent of the vote, with boy band One Direction on 17 per cent, and finally left the show.

Dean Hill, owner of Tramps nightclub, confirmed that Cher would be performing at the venue on Monday, December 20.
