WORCESTERSHIRE employees of npower have thrown their efforts behind the company’s volunteering initiative this Christmas.
Nearly 40 volunteers from energy company npower’s offices in Worcester and Oldbury, West Midlands, have helped good causes provide food, support and presents for local people in the run up to the festive season.
In Worcester, volunteers have supported Ronkswood Community Centre’s Christmas lunch, while colleagues gave a day to Maggs Day Centre, which supports people who are homeless, isolated or lonely.
Organiser Ruth Billington said: “It embodies the true spirit of Christmas.”
