HOSPITAL appointments have been cancelled with more snow on the way.
All outpatient appointments have been suspended at Worcestershire Royal Hospital, the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch and Kidderminster Hospital.
A spokesman for Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, which manages all three hospitals, said: “Due to the uncertain weather and travel conditions we have decided to cancel outpatient clinic appointments this afternoon, with the exception of the most urgent appointments." Members of the appointments team will be calling patients. If the team is not able to get in touch with a patient and they arrive at hospital they will be seen.
Patients should attend if they are to have planned treatments or operations if they can get to hospital safely.
They will be contacted directly if the weather gets worse.
A spokesman said: “We are aware that the forecast is for heavy snow and we will continue to monitor the situation."
