FULL-TIME...

WORCESTER pick up a bonus point victory with a 44-15 victory over Bristol thanks to Miles Benjamin's hat-trick.

Marcel Garvey, Bruce Douglas and Joe Carlisle also scored for the visitors, while Bristol replied with tries from Mariano Sambucetti.

However, the bad-tempered affair also saw yellow cards for Worcester's Andy Goode and Kai Horstmann, as well as Bristol number eight Dan Montagu, while home captain Iain Grieve was shown a straight red.

The bottom line, though, is that Warriors sent out a real statement of intent to their play-off promotion rivals.

HALF-TIME...

TWO tries from Miles Benjamin have put Worcester Warriors well on the road to an opening play-off victory.

Bristol have controlled the play well for large periods, but lack a real cutting edge and have just a solitary Ed Barnes penalty for their efforts.

Andy Goode has converted both of Benjamin's tries as well as adding two penalties.

Experienced flanker Neil Best returns to the Worcester back row alongside Pat Sanderson and Kai Horstmann.

Locks Graham Kitchener and Craig Gillies are paired in the second row, while big Tongan Tevita Taumoepeau adds muscle to the front row alongside fellow countryman Aleki Lutui and Adam Black.

Jonny Arr and Andy Goode combine at half-back and former Bristol player Alex Crockett teams up with Dale Rasmussen at centre. Chris Pennell again captains the team from full-back.

Bristol head coach Paul Hull makes one change to the Bristol side that defeated Ayr last week in the British & Irish Cup.

Junior Fatialofa recovers from an Achilles injury to replace Jack Gadd at inside-centre, while Sam Alford is selected among the replacements instead of Robbie Shaw.

The forwards remain unchanged, although replacement Jason Hobson is drafted into the squad ahead of Sean Marsden.
