TIME is quickly running out to join the race to be the next Miss Worcester.
Entries for the competition close a week on Monday – which means that Worcester’s gorgeous girls only have just over a week to get their applications in.
So, if you want to be in with a chance of wearing the crown and, ultimately, taking part in the Miss England competition, you need to act fast.
The girls already in with a shot of being Miss Worcester include 16-year-old Jodie Love, from Kempsey, near Worcester, and 19-year-old Verity Gwilliam, from St Peter’s, Worcester.
The girls could now make it through to the Miss Worcester final on May 8 – a day that promises to make our final 10 contestants feel like princesses.
Not only will they get their hair done by stylists for Worcester salon Umberto Giannini, but they will also get to wear beautiful ball gowns and be treated like a star for the day.
And with former Miss Englands including Danielle Lloyd attending, it could be the first step towards a career in the spotlight.
Entries for Miss Worcester, which must be in by Monday, March 28, can be e-mailed or posted.
