MEMBERS met in St David’s Hall for the May meeting, which is traditionally our resolution evening.
President Viv Jackman welcomed people and business matters were swiftly dealt with by secretary Beryl Lord.
The resolutions against threatened library closures and proposed mega farming were presented by Beryl and Viv, thoughts and observations were discussed by the membership and following a vote, both resolutions were unanimously accepted.
Viv has arranged an outing to BBC Hereford & Worcester this month and plans are under way for another event in August.
Members enjoyed a glass of wine with cheese and biscuits during a noisy social time.
The next meeting will be on Wednesday, June 15, at 7.30pm, when Veronica Collette will be talking about Saudi Arabia.
New members or visitors will be made most welcome, just turn up on the evening.
BERYL LORD
