MEMBERS continue to enjoy varied venues and have been lucky with good weather on recent rambles.
Carl Armstrong led a wellattended local walk not far from home, around Martley. With so many footpaths available and kept in good condition by the Path-or- Nones, there are always plenty of seasonal flowers to notice and birds to see and hear.
The May walk was led by Gill Gough, starting from the village centre at Chaddesley Corbett.
Woods, mainly National Trust, were full of bluebells, anemones and other spring flowers and several badger bolt holes were noticed.
Open fields with well reinstated paths gave wonderful far-reaching views on a sunny afternoon, helping us to ignore the rather bitter winds.
