A MOTORCYCLIST has been airlifted to hospital after a serious road crash.

The 60-year-old man suffered arm and pelvic injuries after the crash at Crest Hill at Harvington near Evesham at 7.50am.

An ambulance, rapid response vehicle, and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham attended.

The helicopter landed by nearby fishing lakes.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Crews found a motorcyclist and a car that had been in a collision.

“The motorcyclist had emergency treatment and pain relief for serious arm injuries and suspected pelvic injuries.

"The man was airlifted to The Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham for further treatment."
