SHOPPERS can bag a bargain as a festival marking a canal’s reopening gets under way.
Acorns Children’s Hospice shop in Droitwich is hosting a sale of clothes, books, accessories and household goods on Saturday, July 2, and Sunday, July 3.
They will have help from Droitwich Lions Club, which is organising a book sale and donating proceeds to the charity.
The sale coincides with Droitwich Music Festival and canal reopening.
Hannah Spencer, shop manager, said: “Last month our book sale raised almost £900, which was a fabulous result for the children. This year, customers will be in for a real treat with such a big variety to choose from and we hope to raise more.”
The charity is looking for volunteers aged 14 and over to help out. They can apply at the store.
