A MAN and a youth have appeared in court facing charges of inciting theft and damage during the recent riots.
Danny Cook, of Marlpool Place, Kidderminster, is accused of setting up a website called Letz Start a Riot and posting comments on social networking sites to encourage widespread theft and criminal damage.
The 22-year-old was bailed to appear back before Worcester magistrates at a later date.
Johnny Melfah, 16, of Thames Avenue in Droitwich, is accused of posting comments on the same website, also encouraging widespread theft and criminal damage in Worcester.
The 16-year-old, who can be identified after the Worcester News successfully applied to have reporting restrictions lifted, was bailed to appear before Worcester Youth Court tomorrow.
