BUDDING Elizabeth Bennetts can attend a Regency house party at Hanbury Hall this weekend The elegant 18th Century house, near Droitwich, is coming to life today and tomorrow with demonstrations of Regency dancing and outdoor games such as quoits and skittles.
Rebecca White, visitor services manager, said: "We are re-creating the atmosphere of a Regency house party and are inviting families to come along and join us. There will be a gift for anyone who comes in Regency-style fancy dress."
Visitors can watch demonstrations of Regency dancing, courtesy of First Set, before trying out the fancy footwork for themselves.
From today to Wednesday, September 20, volunteers will be dressed as members of the Vernon family, who owned the house for over 250 years.
