MUSCLES the Monkey and friends are urging people to shape up for Cancer Research at a Worcester health club on Sunday.

Pf2 Health Club in Basin Road, Diglis, is staging a one-hour charity zumbathon from 10.30am.

They hope more than 100 people of all ages and abilities will have fun and perform funky latin-inspired moves.

Jason Brown, general manager, said: “The zumbathon is suitable for all ages and abilities so beginners can join in the fun and raise cash for an excellent cause.

“Anyone who has enjoyed working out to zumba fitness at home is also welcome to come along and practise their moves as part of a larger group.”

The zumbathon is open to members and non-members, and the pf2 mascot Muscles the Monkey will also be around to shake his stuff.

Participants are asked to make a £2 donation and all of the proceeds will go to Cancer Research. For more details and to book a place, call 01905 355777.
