A WORCESTERSHIRE charity will appear in the first episode of a new celebrity-based surprise show.

Midlands Air Ambulance was chosen along with a handful of others from across the UK to be presented with dream gifts to help with the running of the life-saving charity.

Reality TV star Jeff Brazier surprised staff and volunteers during a meeting last month.

He burst in with film crews and presented speechless staff with a selection of wish list gifts the charity desperately needed but simply could not afford.

The 30-minute episode will show Jeff Brazier learning about the charity and what wishes would make a real difference before he is set the task of making those wishes come true.

The charity relies solely on the generosity of public donations to operate three helicopters which serve communities across six counties.

The show focuses on the story of nine-year-old Joshua Dudley, from Willenhall, West Midlands, who was airlifted to hospital after a road accident last Easter.

Celebrity Wish List is on Channel 5 on Monday, October 3, at 7.30pm.
