THE National Trust is celebrating the second anniversary of Croome Court being opened to the public.
To mark the occasion, the Home Shrubbery, a historic area housing some of Croome’s most important trees and leading up to the rotunda, has been opened for the first time.
The rotunda has recently undergone a restoration worth almost £500,000. Michael Smith, property manager, said: “We’re so pleased that we are finally able to open another piece of Croome’s parkland for visitors to explore.
“The rotunda project has needed a lot of hard work behind the scenes and we’re so proud to finally allow our visitors up to this iconic Worcestershire building for the first time.”
