THE latest I Will wedding show was held at the Lygon Arms, Broadway, with excited brides and grooms-to-be flocking to the historic hotel.

The charming 16th century ven-ue, in the heart of the Cotswolds, attracted visitors from across the region all taking advantage of the ideas and information offered by more than 30 exhibitors.

A wide range of wedding wares were on display from confectionery favours and sparkling jewellery to digital photo booths and travel services. Visitors could also view and try on a large selection of bridalwear and accessories from local boutiques, while the hotel offered prospective brides and grooms a glass of fizz and canapes to sample.

Exhibitor Danielle McCabe, of the White Rose bridal boutique, was particularly happy with the event’s success “The Lygon is a lovely venue, and the show was well organised – everything came together very smoothly. I received plenty of interest and made lots of contacts and one bride even turned up specifically to see me.”

The next I Will show takes place on Sunday at the Fownes Hotel, Worcester.

The Victorian hotel will play host to around 30 exhibitors, showcasing wedding essentials from cakes and music to venue dressing and menswear.

The show runs between 11am and 3.30pm and has plenty of free parking.

There is also a free prize draw to win up to £2,750 of wedding goodies.

The I Will wedding shows – run by the people behind your Worcester News’ sister papers the Shuttle, Bromsgrove Advertiser, Redditch Advertiser, Stourbridge News, Halesowen News and Dudley News – bring together an array of services under one roof.

This means couples, their families and friends can spend a relaxed and enjoyable day collecting ideas and contacts to help create the perfect wedding.
