SCOUTS and guides celebrated 100 years of Scouting at Hallow earlier this month.
One-hundred youngsters gathered on Hallow playing fields, next to the Scout hut, for a fun day. The day was full of sports, such as wheelchair basketball, and challenges.
The children took part in a mini-olympics.
Each child also painted a tile, which will make up a mural to celebrate 100 years of Scouting. There was also a craft tent.
In the evening, parents joined the group for a barbecue. A few ex-members also attended the fun day.
Sandra Luff, group Scout leader, said: “We had a fun day, it was great day. We had a bit of a shower at lunchtime but the weather was kind to us.”
