TWO lucky ladies and their guests enjoyed tea with the mayor after successfully bidding for the pleasure at a charity auction.
The charity auction was held at the Swan Theatre, Worcester on July 14 to raise money for Worcester Live, which runs the theatre.
Successful bidders Eileen Williams and Julia Bridge and friends were invited to the mayor’s parlour in the Guildhall on Tuesday, September 20, where they enjoyed tea and cakes with the Mayor of Worcester David Tibbutt, and his wife Jane.
Lorna Phillips, marketing manager for Worcester Live, said: “We haven’t heard how it went, but hopefully it went very well.”
