ABOUT 70 firefighters tackled a blaze at a furniture store in Kidderminster.
The fire broke out at Levines furniture store at the junction of Worcester Street and Market Street at about 1pm.
Levines and the British Heart Foundation buildings have been gutted by the blaze.
A 100m cordon was put in place and a number of buildings have also been evacuated including Wilkinsons and Iceland. It is not thought anyone was injured during the incident but thecordon and road closures around the area are expected to remain in place overnight.
- Road closures include junctions at New Road and the Worcester Road island as well as Market Street, Corporation Street and Green Street and Oxford Street.
