BIKERS met in Worcestershire for the start of a ride to show their support for the Armed Forces.

The motorcyclists met at Strensham Services for the fourth annual Ride To The Wall (RTTW) event on Saturday.

The service station was one of six starting locations for bikers who then travelled via the M5 and M42 to the Armed Forces Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire.

The walls of the memorial are engraved with the names of more than 16,000 service men and women killed on duty or by terrorist action since the end of the Second World War.

The event raises money for the National Memorial Arboretum which is part of the Royal British Legion family of charities.

RTTW founder Martin Dickinson said: “Motorcyclists attend Ride To The Wall from all corners of the UK and from continental Europe.”
