A MAN from Worcester has died from injuries he suffered nearly three weeks ago when his car crashed into a tree in Ombersley.
John Webb, of Salters Close, Brickfields, died at Worcestershire Royal Hospital on Friday.
The crash happened at about 10.10am on Monday, September 12 when Mr Webb's silver Nissan Primera left the A449 Worcester-bound carriageway and hit a tree.
PC David Langridge, investigating, said: “It is very sad news that Mr Webb has died from his injuries suffered during the collision.
“We continue to investigate the incident and would like to speak with a nurse or someone from the medical profession that assisted Mr Webb at the scene before ambulance crews arrived.
“I would ask that person to please contact me on 0300 333 3000, quoting 160/S/120911.”
