POLICE are investigating an allegation of a serious sexual assault in a Droitwich park.
The Worcester News understands the alleged victim is a teenage girl who is under 16 and the incident involved more than one attacker.
Four youths have been arrested by West Mercia Police in connection with their investigation into the alleged attack in the town’s Vine’s Park.
Detective Inspector Richard Rees said: “On Monday, September 26, police received a report of a serious sexual assault on a female which took place on the evening of Saturday, September 24, in Vine’s Park, Droitwich.
“Four youths have been arrested in connection with the incident and released on police bail while enquires continue.”
