POLICE have appealed for witnesses to a crash in which a Harley Davidson biker died.
Although the man has not been officially named, he was named locally as Aled Jenkins, a dentist from Gloucester.
Mr Jenkins’s orange bike was travelling away from Pershore, towards the Three Springs Garden Centre on the left.
Mr Jenkins, in his 50s, is thought to have fallen from his bike before colliding with a blue Audi A6 on Defford Road at around 4pm.
He died from his injuries at the scene.
PC David Ashley said: “This is obviously a tragic incident in which a man has lost his life.
“We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident itself of the bike being ridden in the moments leading up to it.”
Anyone with any information is asked to call police on 0300 333 3000, quoting 488/S/021011.
