A CHARITY craft fair raised more than £1,000 for the MS Society.
The fair, which took place at David’s Nurseries in Ash Lane, Martin Hussingtree, near Worcester, over the weekend and featured more than 50 exhibitors, raised £1,040 for the Worcester and district branch of the society.
Exhibitors, ranging from jewellery and jam makers to painters, could rent a table for £10 a day or £15 for the whole weekend and there was also a tombola to raise the funds.
The fair also featured a children’s farm.
Alan Davies, vice chairman of the Worcester and district branch, said: “We’re absolutely delighted.
“A big thank you goes to the people that helped.
“The weather was good and the car parks were full both days – the turn out was superb.
“We were delighted.
“Fifty tables is one of the largest in the county.
“We’ll be holding another craft fair in March.”
