A TEENAGE boy has been airlifted to hospital with serious internal injuries and three others have been taken to hospital after their car crashed into a tree.
The incident happened at 12.20pm today in Liverpool Road, Ronkswood, Worcester.
One of the males was trapped in the car for 30 minutes and was airlifted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birimingham with serious internal injuries.
The other three were treated at the scene for minor injuries and were taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further treatment.
Three ambulances, a paramedic incident officer and two Midlands Air Ambulances based at Strensham and Cosford were sent to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Crews arrived on scene to find a car had collided with a tree.
“A passenger in the car was trapped for thirty minutes and sustained serious internal injuries.
"The casualty was airlifted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham for further treatment.
“Three further patients received minor cuts and abrasions and were treated at the scene before being taken to Worcester Hospital for further assessment and treatment."
