STAFF at a nursing home in Malvern had a great time yesterday, taking their dogs to work with them to help raise money for an animal charity.
Bupa's Court House nursing home, in Court Road, Barnards Green, took part in Bring Your Dog to Work Day in aid of The Blue Cross, an animal welfare charity that provides practical care and helps find permanent homes for unwanted or abandoned pets. The dogs were allowed to visit the residents at the home and there was a raffle and a competition to name the different breeds of dogs.
Organiser Jackie Owen said: "We did this last year but staff brought in a few more dogs this year. Most of us here are dog lovers and we are recognised for our work with animals and people."
All money raised will go to The Blue Cross.
