TIMMY the Lamb, the famous Aardman Animations spin-off character from Wallace and Gromit and Shaun the Sheep, stole the show at a Worcestershire National Trust property.

Star of his own CBeebies television programme since 2009, which is currently in its third series, Timmy stepped out to meet children and families during Croome’s Halloween event.

The Halloween trail had kicked off at the start of the school break and continued until Sunday.

Croome’s entertaining trail led families around the garden and lakeside, past temples and follies, on the hunt for a host of glittery spiders lying in wait around the shrubberies.

“This week has been our busiest Halloween ever and Timmy’s appearance made it extra special,” said house and visitor services manager Amy Forster.

“So many families came along this weekend especially to see Timmy and take part in the wide range of activities, so we were really pleased that Timmy took some time out of his busy schedule to come and visit us.”
