KIDDERMINSTER Harriers chairman Mark Serrell has revealed a number of changes in the boardroom at Aggborough.

Director Andrew Maidstone has resigned from the board due to time restrictions, while vice-chairman Wayne Allen and director Keith Chandler will now represent the club as associate directors.

The duo will attend board meetings without being elected by the shareholders.

Serrell, who is also looking to devote more time to his own business, also revealed the fans’ trust KHIST will have a local businessman represent them on Harriers’ board.

He said: “The board of directors have discussed this at length and decided it is time to restructure to attract new members who will bring new vision and energy to help take the club to the next level in securing its future.

“Wayne and Keith have decided to represent the club as associate directors.

“Andrew has found it more difficult to fulfil his business, professional and Harriers responsibilities and has resigned his position as a member of the Harriers board. But he will continue assisting the club on an ongoing basis in a lesser role to be agreed. He also intends to continue to help the club financially.”

Joe Hancox will remain as financial director, while Graham Hill is the new football secretary after holding the position at Worcester City.
