THE funeral of a popular young musician killed in a car crash will take place in Worcester tomorrow.

Hundreds of people are expected to gather at St George’s Catholic Church, Sansome Place, to pay their final respects to Justine Miskimmin.

Miss Miskimmin, of Wyld’s Lane, Worcester, died in the early morning of Sunday, October 30, when her car went into a tree on the A44 near Egdon.

She was travelling to Moreton-in-Marsh in the Cotswolds, where she worked as a manager for Tesco.

Tributes to the 22-year-old, who played drums in the all-female rock band Rubber Nuns, have been pouring in ever since.

Almost two weeks after her death, friends continue to post messages on her Facebook page and a group, entitled In memory of Justine Miskimmin, has also been set up on the social networking site. The funeral service will begin at 2pm and there is no dress code.

It will be family flowers only, but donations to Breast Cancer UK can be given at the funeral or sent to AV Band Funeral Directors.

After the service, there will be a gathering at the Marr’s Bar in Pierpoint Street, where Miss Miskimmin often performed with her bandmates.

An inquest into her death has been opened and adjourned by the Worcestershire coroner.
