POLICE have arrested a man after they seized cannabis plants and equipment being used to cultivate the drug from a Kidderminster flat.
Officers executed a search warrant at the property in Witley Close on the Rifle Range estate on Tuesday, where they discovered the Class B drug growing in a bedroom and living room.
A total of 19 cannabis plants were found along with cannabis which had already been harvested.
The drugs were seized along with a large amount of hydroponics and other cultivation equipment including growing tents, filters, heaters and lamps.
A man was arrested on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis yesterday evening after he attended Kidderminster police station.
He was released on police bail until Tuesday, December 20, pending further inquiries.
