POWER tools worth £2,000 have been stolen from an industrial unit prompting a police warning over Christmas gifts.

The unit at Evesham Shopping Park was burgled between midnight and 6am on Wednesday, November 9.

The rear of the premises were entered and the goods stolen.

It included various equipment including a Milwaukee drill, Dewalt jigsaw, Paslode nail gun and two cordless drills were stolen during the incident.

PC Emma Burrows, of Evesham police, said: "With Christmas approaching, those who make a dishonest living through stealing will be trying to sell these items on, knowing that people may be looking to buy power tools as presents.

"I would urge anyone who is offered equipment matching the above description to get in touch so we can try and identify those responsible for this crime."
