A GROUP of 11 friends will be jetting off to Rome tomorrow to begin a 16-day cycling challenge that will lead them all the way back to Evesham.
The All Roads Lead to Evesham challenge aims to raise about £20,000 for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham and is being undertaken in memory of Evesham man Matt Brace.
The 25-year-old teacher and keen amateur rugby player died in May last year after a freak accident following a dinner at Evesham Rugby Club.
The group plans to arrive back at Evesham Rugby Club on Sunday, April 15, at about 3pm.
