A MAN accused of the murder of a Worcester woman has appeared in court.
William Cummins, aged 51, of no fixed abode appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court this morning after he was charged with the murder of 48-year-old Jacqueline Harrison.
Jacqueline Harrison, known as Jackie, was found dead at her flat in Gresham Road, Dines Green, Worcester, on Thursday, April 12.
Cummins was was arrested in Dorchester, Dorset, on Sunday, April 15 and following questioning and inquiries by detectives from West Mercia Police, authority to charge him with murder was given by the Crown Prosecution Service yesterday.
He will appear again at Worcester Crown Court this afternoon.
