BEWDLEY singer Becky Hill has made it through to the semi-finals of BBC talent show The Voice - even after accidentally swearing on live television.

The 18-year-old was praised by coaches for her version of The White Stripes’ Seven Nation Army last night, despite mouthing the f-word to cameras when she forgot the opening lyrics of the song.

Her coach, Jessie J, told her: “You don’t realise how amazing your voice is.”

Fellow coach, Tom Jones, added: “She always does enough for me. She’s on fire. She takes it to the extreme. So much so, I get a little concerned in the way she sings. I’m frightened she will damage her voice.”

Danny O’Donoghue, frontman of The Script, said he wanted to duet with Becky.

“You’re a fantastic performer,” he said.

“You held the audience in the palm of your hand. You’re pretty much there.”

But it was thanks to Jessie J that she made it through to the next round on tonight's results show.

The Price Tag singer decided to save Becky over fellow team mates Cassius Henry and Toni Warne when Vince Kidd won the public vote.

She will now go through to next week’s semi-final where she will again be singing for her survival in the competition.
