A Worcestershire landmark is set to open to the public for the first time during a special open day tomorrow.
The Panorama Tower, at Croome, near Upton-upon-Severn, has been renovated by the National Trust after they acquired it in 2009.
Visitor services manager Amy Forster said: “The Panorama Tower is in a unique location as it not only overlooks Croome but also the Malvern Hills and Worcester Cathedral.
“It’s often spotted by passing motorists, who don’t realise it’s on the edge of an estate that used to stretch for over 14,000 acres in the 18th century.
“We’re really pleased we can now let people venture up the spiral staircase to experience its full beauty.”
The open day starts with a guided walk from Croome’s visitor centre at 11am.
Places are limited, for more information or to book call 01905 371006.
Further open days will be held on Sunday, June 24 and Sunday, July 29.
