TWO men have been seriously injured after a two vehicle crash in Worcestershire yesterday lunch time.

The smash happened on the B4194, Ribbesford, Bewdley, at around 1.10pm. Two ambulances, two rapid response vehicles, a paramedic officer, a BASICS Doctor and two Midlands Air Ambulances attended.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Ambulance crews arrived to find a 4x4 vehicle and a car that had been in a collision. It is believed the 4x4 vehicle had rolled over several times and had come to rest on its side.

“Two men who were travelling in the 4x4 suffered multiple serious injuries. Both men, believed to be in their 20s, received emergency treatment at the scene and were immobilised with neck collars and spinal boards.

“Both men were airlifted to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Major Trauma Unit for further emergency treatment. The hospital had been pre alerted to the patients arrival and their serious injuries and trauma teams were on standby.

“A third man travelling in the 4x4 of a similar age, suffered minor injuries and was checked over at the scene. He did not require hospital treatment.

“The woman driving the car in the crash was also checked over at the scene by ambulance crews but did not require hospital treatment.”
