A WOMAN hurt in a crash when her car hit another car and then a house had to be cut out of her vehicle.

Ambulance crews were called to the Worcester Road, near to The Dog Public House, at around 7pm yesterday evening. An ambulance, a response vehicle, a paramedic officer, a BASICS Doctor and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance attended the scene. The woman was trapped for an hour before she was freed.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Crews arrived to find two cars that had been in a significant collision. One car subsequently left the road and was also in collision with a house.

“The woman who was travelling in the car that hit the house, who is believed to be in her late 20s, suffered a hip injury and multiple cuts, abrasions and bruises.

“She received emergency treatment at the scene and her condition was stabilised. The woman was extricated from the car with the roof and doors being removed whilst being immobilised using a spinal board and neck collar. She was then transferred by land ambulance to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further treatment.

“No other person was injured in the crash.”
