MORE details have emerged about a car crash near Bewdley on Saturday in which two men were seriously hurt.
At about 1.15pm, a green Land Rover Defender was travelling towards Stourport at Ribbesford on the B4194 switchback road.
It had just driven past Bewdley Town Football Club when it was involved in a collision with a white Toyota Aygo travelling in the opposite direction.
The Land Rover’s driver and passenger were airlifted to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
The driver was treated for a broken ankle and facial injuries.
The passenger suffered serious head injuries and an injury to his leg and is said to be in a critical but stable condition.
The woman driver of the Toyota suffered minor hand injuries.
PC James Benjamin said: “We would like to hear from anyone who remembers seeing those vehicles on that road before the collision or witnessed what happened.
“We are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact us on 0300 3333000, quoting incident reference 372-S-260512.”
