A MAN has died in a crash near Droitwich.
Emergency services were called to Clattercut Lane, Rushock, at about 10.15pm yesterday after reports a white Mini Cooper had collided with a wall.
An ambulance, a rapid response vehicle and a MARS BASICS doctor from West Midlands Ambulance Service attended, but the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The vehicle was heading from near Cutnall Green towards Chaddesley Corbett when the crash occurred outside Yew Tree Cottage.
A local woman was the first on the scene and flagged down a passing motorist driving a dark coloured Audi TT who smashed the passenger side window in order to reach the driver.
But the man, described as white, in his mid-20s, dark haired and clean shaven, left before police arrived, without giving contact details.
Officers want to hear from the man or anyone who witnessed the crash. Information can be passed on by calling 101.
