A FUND-RAISING event in memory of a popular Worcester man who died last week will take place this weekend.
The body of 28-year-old father-of-two Jamie Harding was found on Wednesday on the railway tracks near Lark Hill Road railway bridge.
The free event has been organised by Mr Harding’s family and friends to raise money for his funeral and headstone. It will take place at the Punch Bowl in Ronkswood from 3.30pm on Sunday.
There will be a sponsored walk from the pub to County Hall, a tombola and a raffle and a balloon release in his memory. A sponsored football match is also being planned at Archdales field at 12.30pm.
