A MINI military parade will take place at South Worcestershire College this weekend as part of its armed forces day.
The college is hosting the event on Saturday, National Armed Forces Day, at their Evesham campus to raise funds for Help for Heroes and other military charities.
As well as live 1940s and 50s music, visitors can check out a military vehicle exhibition, meet army and fire service teams and compete in various challenges.
Local businesses have supported the event by donating prizes for the raffle, including one month’s free membership at Evesham Leisure Centre, meals at local restaurants, hair and beauty treatments and fruit hampers.
Entry to the event, to be opened by Evesham MP Peter Luff at 2pm, is free.
If you would like to join the parade or have a table-top stall at the event contact Tracey Hodgkins on 01386 712602 or e-mail thodgkins@ sworcs.ac.uk.
