A BIKER was airlifted to hospital after he was involved in a crash with a car.
The accident happened in Evesham Road, Norton, near Evesham, at the junction with Church Walk, at about 7.35pm on Wednesday.
A senior paramedic, ambulance, the Midlands Air Ambulance from Staffordshire and a trauma doctor from the West Midlands Ambulance Service were all sent to the scene after the accident.
An ambulance service spokesman said: “On arrival, we found a rider lying about 20 feet away from the motorbike and car.
“The car had damage to the nearside and the windscreen had been smashed.
“The rider had a head injury and was not fully conscious and also had leg injuries.
“He was immobilised using a neck collar and spinal board before being airlifted to the major trauma centre at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham.
“A 16-year-old teenage girl and a 17-year-old boy were in the car.
“Neither were hurt, but they were shaken by what had happened.”
