A MAN of no fixed address has been banned from entering Powick, near Worcester, or Malvern before he stands trial later this year on charges of theft and burglary.
Steven Scarratt will return to Worcester Magistrates Court on Thursday, December 20, after being released on conditional bail in relation to the incidents alleged to have taken place four days apart in August and September.
On Friday, August 31, he is accused of stealing five electrical items to the value of £475 and £10 in cash belonging to Dayna Willems and Amanda Coleman while staying at a property in Malvern.
Then on Monday, September 3, he allegedly entered a caravan owned by his parents on the A44 in Cotheridge, near Worcester, as a trespasser and stole a number of electrical items to the value of £300.
As well as the Powick and Malvern ban, the bail conditions say Scarratt must live at a friend’s house in Wales Road, Ronkswood, Worcester, and does not contact his parents or Ms Willems and Ms Coleman.
