BROMSGROVE has been named as the best place to live in the UK if you are a pet owner.
Research conducted by home buying company WeBuyAnyHome has revealed the UK’s top places to live to increase pets’ quality of life - with Bromsgrove coming out on top.
WeBuyAnyHome has ranked over 130 UK towns and cities based on ‘dog-friendly’ factors including average garden (private outdoor space) ratings, average property size, average vet ratings, number of pet groomers and other pet-relevant amenities and pet-friendly establishments.
The study has revealed Bromsgrove has the best average ‘garden score’ in the West Midlands - ranking 6th in the UK.
The average property price in Bromsgrove is £306,675, meaning it’s not the best value but remains 33% cheaper than it’s most expensive competitor for the ‘most pet-friendly title’ Sevenoaks, where property prices are just shy of half a million pounds.
The Worcestershire town also ranks within the top 25 for vet ratings, average property size, and number of pet groomers, and training centres.
London has been ranked as the worst place to have a pet in the UK due to the lack of garden space and smaller property sizes.
