A BUSINESS graduate who was previously one of Microsoft’s top ambassadors has scooped an award from the University of Worcester’s business school.

The standard of his studies won Ben Price the Hewett Recruitment Prize for best undergraduate student.

Mr Price, aged 23, who has just graduated with a first class honours degree in business with leadership and innovation from the university, said he was thrilled with winning the award.

He said: “I’m really delighted to have won this top award.

“It’s a great achievement for me.”

Louise Hewett, managing director of Hewett Recruitment, said: “We work closely with the university on a range of different projects to highlight the skills of students as they move into employment.

“Our ethos, like that of the university, is about developing the talent within the county.

“His approach to his degree course and his outlook towards business will stand him in great stead as he enters the field of employment.”

Alongside his degree, Mr Price, aged 23 from Westbury in Wiltshire, spent two years working for Microsoft.

In the final year of university, he went on to win £2,000 after being named the company’s best Windows 7 ambassador outside the USA.

He has now secured a job at Net Communities in London as the marketing and social media manager.
