Firm lands two more honours in prestigious ceremony at House of Commons

Chartered financial planners McCarthy Taylor, which has offices in Worcester and Evesham, won the Incisive Media Gold Award for independent financial advice for the second year running and also took the award for wealth management at a sparkling presentation evening in London.

Director and chartered financial planner, Philip Haden, accepted the awards at the ceremony at the House of Commons.

He said: “We are delighted to win not one but two of these highly coveted and respected awards. We have once again come out on top.

“These awards are affirmation of what we knew, that our staff are more than meeting the requirements of the evolution in financial services.

“Our team excels at giving the best advice and getting the best returns for our clients and for their hard work to be recognised in this way is phenomenal.”

The awards not only take into account standards of service but financial strength, capability to conduct business as well as fair value and trust.

This year also saw an increased focus on areas of governance and social responsibility.

McCarthy Taylor has already won a number of awards this year, picking up the Financial Adviser Small Life and Pension Adviser award, Investment Life & Pensions Moneyfacts Awards retirement adviser of the year, and West Midlands Insurance Institutes Award as financial planning company of the year.
