POLITICS followers will get a rare insight into life at Westminster when the Prime Minister's parliamentary aide Gavin Williamson MP visits Worcestershire.
The MP has been invited by West Worcestershire colleague Harriett Baldwin to talk to local people at an event run by the Conservative Business Forum at the Talbot Hotel in Knightwick on Friday September 12. Mr Williamson is MP for South Staffordshire and is currently Parliamentary private secretary to David Cameron..
Mrs Baldwin said: "It is fabulous that Gavin has agreed to visit Worcestershire and this event will be a great opportunity for local people to mingle with, and quiz a leading politician. As well as his current role with the PM, Gavin has been PPS for the Secretaries of State for Northern Ireland and Transport and will have some great insights to share from the heart of Government. The event includes drinks and a meal at a wonderful countryside venue and I am sure it will be a great night. Previous events run by the Forum have been really well attended so I urge people who want to come along to apply for tickets as quickly as possible.”
